I woke to this on Saturday morning.
I went to take a photo of the fence and trees in the snow and found this!
A close-up, the fence by the driveway was down, and from the house, it looked like a couple trees were shorter than they ought to be!
The rest of the fence and trees looked ok.
I was far too exhausted to get dressed and go out in the snow to look. My husband would soon be going to the barn and he could see how bad it was.
The sugar maple with its electric wires looked fine.
I went out into the addition to get photos. This is the East Shed garden and the poor daffodils bent under heavy snow.
The magnolia blossoms covered in snow
Green spots under each big tree
It’s still snowing and is supposed to change over to rain and then stop late afternoon.
My husband says the posts by the driveway were put down into mud and the heavy snow pulled them over. The little trees are fine!
So now this post is done and I plan to rest all day on Saturday.
