We’ve been hearing huge flocks of starlings in the few trees to our north since last Thursday. They are VERY noisy!
I’d gone out yesterday to get photos of the veg gardens and the flock took off from the trees behind me.
They circled around to the southwest (the trees were northeast), probably half a mile away, and you could still hear them.
They slowly came around to the trees to the north again. One of the larger flocks we’ve ever seen.
They are still here today, but it’s cold enough, and 2 days of rain are coming. They may migrate soon.
