On Thursday morning, I was up about 6AM, fed the cat and got my post up. At 7AM I got the shades up and checked the stoves then sat down to create the new plans for the 2 large gardens.
I had to stop at 10AM to get ready for the ortho appointment for my knee. The result is 5 weeks of PT starting in mid February to the end of March.

Back home I resumed work on the gardens and got the Big garden and the Small garden made. I was pretty tired from concentrating for so long so I made some lunch and went to lay down to read. But my mind wouldn’t settle on the book or a nap, so I got up and sat in my chair being a vegetable on TikTok.

Late afternoon it finally dawned on me that I had not updated last year’s plans on the computer, so the carry forward wasn’t correct. So I couldn’t stand it, plus was curious. Would the 2025 plan, corrected, reflect in the 2026 plan? I had to find out. And was delighted to see it does automatically. So I updated both plans and it was 7:30PM when I finished. I got some supper and was in bed by 8:30PM.
A nap in the sun
I’m afraid my supervisor fell down on the supervisory work for most of the day.
On Friday I have exercise class in the morning and my #2 new helper will be here at 12:30PM. I plan to have her do errands and bring the Christmas decoration boxes down from the spare room.
I have to excavate the store room to have the boxes ready for her to bring down. I hope to work on the New Herb garden 2026 plan, once I’ve updated it from 2025.
There’s supposed to be snow showers all afternoon, but I’ve not heard accumulations yet.
