On Saturday evening when I went to pull the windows shades to try to save some heat, I found this design on the north window in the upstairs hall. These are the older windows and don’t seal quite so well anymore.
I loved the feathery look of this one.

Yup, nature sure is amazing. On Sunday morning, after stoking the stoves at 8:30PM and again at 11:15PM because it was well below 0F, when I got up this was where we stood, -11F (around -23C). Not the coldest it’s ever been, but it’s mighty cold.
At least the wind had died down…
