Dry Brushing While Painting is a Technique Used to Achieve a Worn and Weathered Look for your Finished Project Without Having to Add Ware Through Other Means Such as Sanding or Rubbing with Steel Wool etc.
I Had a Pallet Project That I Had Prepared for Dry Brushing By Sanding and Staining with Dark Walnut Stain. I Did This Roughly to Only Exposed Natural Wood. These Pallets Had Some Remnants of Green Paint, Which I Didn't Mind Fortunately because I Had No Interest in Sanding it all Away, lol!
So After the Stain had Cured for 24hrs It was Time for the Most Satisfying of All Painting..
Once the 2 Pallets Were Completed, They Were Bolted Together Face to Face and Topped with 2 Stained (Dark Walnut also) and Lacquered Boards to Have as a Buffet Table Top. Not Only Does the Finished Project Look Super Cool and Unique but the Dry Brushed Paint Totally Suits the Overall Look for This Pallet Upcycle Buffet.
