I found this quote from the Jewish Talmud the other day that I thought is worthy of meditation. “According to the struggle, so is the reward.” This statement is true on a superficial or deeper level.
Yesterday, I read a post from https://steemit.com/writing/@markrmorrisjr/6-reasons-it-s-hard-to-get-seen-on-steemit-and-16-specific-things-you-can-do-to-fix-it-today. We all want our posts to get noticed. Sometimes it is a struggle, but if we persist, the rewards can be great.
People who visit our homestead comment that we have done a lot in just a few years. They do not realize the struggles we had the first year working hard just to survive. We are reaping rewards of that struggle.
It is the struggles in life that make us who we are and build depth of character. Struggles can be hard, but without them we would become very shallow. “According to the struggle, so is the reward.”
Have a great day and thanks for your up-vote, Tim and Joann
