THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I CHOSE TO ABANDON SOCIETY AND LIVE IN THE WOODS

A few days ago while straightening the cabin, I heard something behind me but when I turned around I saw nothing. Back to work on straightening up the cabin, and as I did the noises continued again.

This time I turned around very slowly, and as I did out of the corner of my eye I could see sitting in my open window a little tiny bird. 🥰🥰

I talked to it and asked it what it was up to. He was dancing around on the windowsill, prancing back and forth but I wasn't sure why. I asked if it would be all right if I pick him up and I promise to be as gentle with him as possible. He cocked his head sideways, and is happy little feet stop moving him from one end of the window to the next.

I I don't know of any other better way for a bird to tell you that it wants to be held and hang out so I walked over to him stuck my finger down as slow as I could to not startle him.

He was watching me the whole time and I can only imagine how fast his heart must have been beating, to have such a huge creature coming towards you must have been scary regardless of if he could sense that I met him no ill. As I put my finger at the bottom of his breast and in front of his feet, he looked down at it, pecked me once and then climbed on board.

*Isn't he the cutest thing ever!!!😁🥰

I walked through the house with him to show him what kind of homes humans have. He seemed to like the place as he seemed very chipper snd chirped several times as I gave him the tour.

*His favorite room was the bathroom.😁🤷

All in all, it was a pretty awesome visit, and hopefully he'll come back or he'll tell his friends and we'll have other visitors.

This guy in particular was a Red-Eyed Verio. They live across a large portion of North America, and mainly inside of wooded areas. While I called the bird at him throughout the story, I truly do not know if it was a boy or a girl. 😁😁
