Previously we discuss about the site that we are going to use for permaculture. Since we own the site for almost a year now, naturally we have cultivate the land with various crops and plants. Here are the prized plants that I think should be optimized :
Durian tree
Love it or hate it, durian is an expensive delicacy which carries not only economical value but also ecological value. There are 18 durian trees in the site and most of them has blossom and we only need to wait for a few months to harvest them.
Clover tree
Clover is quite a commodity in Indonesia. For one kilogram of clover, one can expect roughly $10. That is why we cultivate it in our land. Although this plant is quite delicate therefore hopefully shouldn't be disrupted.
Peripheral crops
We have several crops that can be easily replaced, namely chilli, cassava and eggplant. This plant can be either optimized or removed for suitable Permaculture implementation.
