Tinker and Maisy are quickly becoming good friends. Interesting friend for a sheep dog to have for sure!
With Tinker’s mum having triplets the other night, we made the decision to relieve her of one of them. Just so all three will have a better chance of not only survival but also good growth rates. A sheep is only built to feed two lambs you see.
It could very well have been a different story had she had her lambs later in the season when we have more grass, but we don’t have any at the moment so she will already struggle to keep the weight on herself as well as having babies to grow!
