Hello fellow Steemiteers. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves as much as i am this weekend?
I have done a few little improvements to my garden so far since my last homesteading post.
Not only have a managed to get nearly all of the glass put into my funky Eden Greenhouse (minus the door).
But i have slowly de stoned a little area of my lawn and put grass seed down.

Which has only just started to sprout!

I know there are more stones to be removed, but the majority from this area are done enough for the grass seed to have something to bed into.
Also i purchased myself a strimmer and went over most of the lawn.

Now 😊
In my greenhouse i have tomatos, kale, sprouts, chilli, dill and thyme all grown from seed.
I need to get the door on ASAP as something is nibbling the leaves of the seedlings (slugs and snails no doubt)!
I have some wooden frames i am going to use as outside planters.
I think these will be on tomorrows list which i hope to plant carrot, onion, turnip and a few other goodies.
And finally , last night and today i managed to dig a hole and fit a lovely little pond at the top of the garden, applying the finishing touches with the stones i removed from my garden soil previously.
I hope the birdies like this and the other wildlife on offer.
Also i'm hoping to get some plants put in there to airate the water a bit.
All in all i am happy with my slow and steady progress up until now.
I am going to try making a stinging nettle tea soon. It will be my first attempt and first time indulging in netrle tea. But i habe read so many benifits in taking it.
I have chopped some leaves and stems ready and drying them out before the process can commence ☺
I have a feeling dandelion tea will be on the cards after i have tried the nettle tea. I will be posting a seperate blog on these once i get further towards trying them out
So until next time.
Be happy and healthy and enjoy living life!!
