I took a little walk around the property taking a few photos. Thought I’d share them with my friends here on steemit.
Its already in the 90s here with heat index’s into the low 100s!
Spider Lily in bloom
Wildflowers I seeded a couple years ago came up or I stopped mowing over them.
Sadly a couple of rotting Oaks got taken down a week ago, it had to be done.
This one was a water oak that was leaning to close to the chicken coop.
Lola’s hot...she insists on wandering with me.
The chicks have really grown, they’re almost as big as the hens.

I thought this succulent was gone due the freeze we had this past winter.
Can’t remember what this plant is called.
I love this baby, Jodie,I think he may be a rooster. He’s a sweetheart.
The first of 4 eggs today. the girls are not laying well due to the heat.
