Well, I didn't expect to start planting in the greenhouse this early but mother nature seems to have lost her calendar. At least for now. I fully expect at least one more cold snap before we shake of winter for good but how can I pass up planting now? I'm not putting all of my seeds in but this is a start.
I'm also trying to root fruit tree cuttings from my fig, apple, and peach trees. My next experiment will be with grafting the peach and apple. I realized that it's a mistake to cap the bottle with the cuttings so I removed it after a day or two. We'll see if it roots. I will also be doing some grafting over the next few days. I've watched a lot of "expert" videos on the subject and bark grafting looks pretty easy and has a really good success rate. More to come...
