With the new white blanket of snow on the ground, I wanted to try a little bit of photography with one of our whiter rabbits.
I wasn't completely sure how this would work out, but I was willing to give it a try and I'm happy with the results. Check out the pics and see what you think.
BUNNY'S FIRST SNOW
The rabbit was quite content to be out on the snow. A few times it wanted to run away, but once it found grasses and twigs protruding from beneath the fresh snow, it was happy to just sit and nibble. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the photo shoot.
EVEN BLACKER AND WHITER
I know that when the ground is white and the rabbit is black and white, you've almost got pure black and white photos anyway, but I felt like dropping a few down into B&W anyway, just to see what they'd look like. Sure enough, I think that they rock. I tweaked them a little bit and then shifted them into B&W, and I really like the results. Check out the fur texture in the top photo too.
A FEW EDITED PICS
Here are the ones that I edited and tweaked before shifting them into B&W. I like the way that slight color manipulation can transform a photo to appear in a similar fashion, but with very different moods and hues. Enjoy.
As always, I'm
