Firewood is my favourite job. I'm not very good a finishing what I start, therefore firewood is perfect for me. It is required to be done every year, if you dont finish it all at once, start again, finish again. Always on the go!!
Also another great thing about firewood is that it warms you up at least 3 times before you have even burnt it. The 4th time is an added bonus.
I am going to look into buying in a B-double load of logs and ring and split them, then sell on and make a bit of money on the side. Hopefully!
Anyways, currently I have a heap of ringed gum which needs split. I had a go last night, however it is fairly dry, and therefore very very hard to split. I soon gave up, hence the very small pile of split wood. I'm going to need to hire a log splitter I think.
