Good afternoon, Steemians!
For the past year, we’ve had to stand in a bucket to take a shower at my house. This is because our plumbing under the shower was broken and the water would drip under the house. Not good. We brought in the bucket to be able to collect the water and bring it outside to use on our crops. This proved very arduous, so we just began to dump the water into the toilet.
My neighbor knows how to fix anything, so I asked him to help me with the shower. He came out with a hand of his and we all fixed it. I told him that I would like to have a collection away from the house for my greywater, and so that’s just what we did. Since we are on a shallow well, we want to use every drop we have instead of flushing it away!
Now I can use that greywater after a shower to water plants, especially during the dry season. Should’ve done this much earlier!
