One of my glass paintings.
challenged us Steemit Homesteaders this week to find a rainbow of colors on our homesteads.
Go on a rainbow colored scavenger hunt - find something of every color on your homestead - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple!
At first I thought it was close to impossible. It's the middle of winter here in the Ozarks! Nothing blooming. Everything grey or brown. Temperatures have been hovering down around -4. I had no reason to venture outside besides the necessary chores.
Thank gawd for the Steemit Homesteading Challenge.
I actually got outside. I remembered my camera and I took note of everything around me. I found my rainbow!
Here are my submissions for the rainbow of color, including the BONUS above photo, a full rainbow of colors in one shot:
RED:
Cherries the birds haven't gotten to.
ORANGE:
Our Kubota B9200
YELLOW:
The dogs contributed to this one!
GREEN:
Hens and Chicks in the snow.
BLUE:
The metal tubes that make up my kids' climbing gym.
PURPLE:
An overripe persimmon.
So those are my contributions for Steemit Homesteading Challenge #8. Which one is your favorite? Thanks for checking this out! I hope you enjoyed!
