When I was a kid I used to plant some vegetables in our ancestral house's yard. I tried Cabbage, Eggplants, Bitter Gourd and a lot more. But that was when I was during my Elementary days. I realized I don't have Green Thumb so I stopped, Lol.
Two days ago I saw that there are a lot of spaces on our yard that can be used to put up some plants, So I started that day to removed some trees and weeds. Then I started to cultivate the soil but it was so hard 'coz of the roots on it.
We have some Black Plastic for plants- I don't know how you call it,hehe. We also have 3 sacks of garden soil and organic fertilizer.
My sister planted some Okras, Eggplants and Tomatoes a week or two weeks ago.
This morning I planted some Okra on 6 Black Plastics.
Here are the Okra seeds I planted. About 7 seeds per plastic.
Hopefully it will grow and will transfer it, I just need to remove all the roots on the soil, I think it should be cultivated first.
We also have a lot of water containers, about 20-30 containers. I 'm planning to plant some Eggplants and more Tomatoes on those.
As of now we have 2 Papaya Trees, 2 Banana Trees, 1 Sugar Apple Tree, 1 Coconut Tree, 2 Rambutan Tree, 1 Chico Tree, 2 Guava Tree and those vegetables. And I want to add more. :-)
I still have nine days Vacation this year so I'll make use of it to plant more and hoping I can still continue doing this even when I'm back to work. :-)
