Landscapes Around The Homestead

So here I am again, trying for one of those photography contests! I'm not sure why Hive account@bobydimitrov insist to do so, as I've never won any contest or actually anything when luck is considered :)

Even so, the topic Hive account@knowledge-seeker selected attracts me as I love landscape photography! However, we're currently snowed in so I'll be posting two photos from earlier last year.

One is our small garden and orchard plot at my favorite time - sunset! The mountains on the horizon take a golden hue and the light seems soft and warm. Our mighty ash tree looks like something from an fairy tale! If you look very closely, you can see me and our baby girl in the middle of the garden.

And if you go for a two minute walk and cross the micro forest at the bottom of our plot, earlier in the day, you will be rewarded with views like this:

That's the small hay field of our neighbors and behind it a plot of agriculture land. I especially love the stork that I managed to catch in that shot, hunting for lizards in the tall grass. Those clouds on the horizon are like a masterpiece painting!
