I'm not sure if Hive account@battleaxe knows this, but her post below would have fit perfectly into our latest Drop in the Ocean show. She serves up a piece of Humble Pie for us to munch on. Made from the finest organic, fair trade, gluten free and hypo-allergenic ingredients, she gives us a delicious lesson in humility.

Never forget your roots. Even as I see some friends on here fly past me in earning many others have quit or struggle to soldier on. Hats off to those who keep at it and keep working. Sometimes slow and steady can win the race!

This recipe from Hive account@battleaxe deserves a read as it reminds us here on Steemit to be realistic. If you become a baller, don't be a douche bag. I would have to agree with her because, really... who likes a douche bag? Everyone should have a piece of Aunt Flo's Humble Pie.

Hive account@saffisara

After a terrible diagnosis of double pneumonia and being admitted to hospital, we are so happy to see Hive account@saffisara back and feeling better with her Sunday Blessing Post as she takes us for a walk around her beautiful garden. @Saffisara and Bobby had a wonderful breakfast and then shared some gorgeous pictures with us.

Only thing was I saw so many new flowers and things in the garden, that I just wanted to take pictures of it all.

This lovely stroll through Hive account@saffisara's garden reminds me that sometimes we need to just slow down for a bit, take in the surroundings and smell the flowers. Having a view like this in her yard makes for a peaceful recovery. We are glad you're feeling better Hive account@saffisara and tell Bobby hello for us.

Hive account@enginewitty

Do you have a happy place? Hive account@enginewitty sure does, and he takes his girls there on a Wednesday Night Walk with their doggie Wenzday. They spotted a few deer, including a snorting buck on their evening adventure. Good thing Hive account@enginewitty had his 'night cap' on or he would have missed it.

As my doggie, Wenzday, and I, entered the park, we saw a deer. She gave chase immediately and scared it off.

Turns out that Hive account@enginewitty is quite the fisherman! After throwing back the bigger breeding sized fish, he catches one that's the perfect size for a brainy meal for his furry companion. I'm sure somewhere in the world fish brains are considered a delicacy, I think I'll leave that up to Wenzday to decide.

Let's join Hive account@enginewitty and his girls on their night time excursion and if you're nice and show him some love, maybe he'll take you fishin' if you're ever in the area.
