Almost 20 years ago I walked through a valley with the shadow of death. My wife discovered she had brain cancer. This was the first big dominoe to fall in my life over a period of several years. During this extended path, I lost all personal hope. I became apathetic.
Living without hope messes with your mind. Soon you lack vision for the future. Stumbling forward or falling backward seems irrelevant since Lou lack hope of future achievements.
That was then. It has taken 1/3rd of my life to partially regain some hope. Today I am better.
The point is... we all go through valleys where hope and vision are lost. Life habits are important if personal survival is your goal.
While you can, establish good long term habits. A few include exercise, honesty, integrity, and having fun daily.
Time will eventually heal you. At least your wounds will scar over. Mr. C. S. Lewis lost his wife as I did. He wrote it was similar to losing a leg. Can you imagine the pain and loss?
Regardless of your personal struggles... life goes on. Find HOPE and never let go!
Here is today’s beauty.
