The work was first place in a horror short film competition and it has gone viral.
Can you tell a good horror story without using words, in just 15 seconds? Emma, a micro-short of Daniel Limmer, is the proof that it can be achieved.
This film work has just emerged as the flaming winner of this year's edition of the 15 Second Horror Film Challenge.
This festival is an international film contest, non-profit, in which renowned judges decide which are the best short films of 15 seconds that cover the subject of terror.
This work by Limmer manages to generate an atmosphere of horror in seconds, when there are films that try for minutes and hours. In this short film, fear comes from the hands of a girl with a strange smile that manages to maintain the tension of the spectator. He gets involved in a fight with another girl, and the scene is seen from a picture frame that holds one of them.
The plot surprises and the turn of the end may be familiar and is probably inspired by the scene of Sixth Sense, film directed by M. Night Shyamalan and performed by Haley Joel Osment and Bruce Willis
