Crowe, John D. Kennedy, Calvin Jones, Richard R. Reed, Frank O. McCord. The Ku Klux Klan has opposed the rights the states have won after the American Civil War, liberties and black race-white race equality. Violence and terrorism were applied to achieve their goals. The organization was revived in 1950 and 1960, despite its disintegration twice. Today, in some regions it operates only on a local basis.
