This vertical house of 107 m2 denotes in the neighborhood filled with workers' houses. Its architecture and palette in black, gray and white make it an original and modern home, we owe this design Architecture Architecture studio.
The palette of materials and tones used is quite minimalist and is found throughout the house, giving a tonal variation and spatial depth to a modest site. The play of tones establishes a subtle domain of spaces that develop and contract, creating moments of sharing and intimacy. In living spaces, where space and light are abundant, the material palette is darker, creating comfortable sleeping spaces. Here, the sensible use of the acoustic treatment reinforces these qualities. In the corridors where the space is tighter, the pallet lights up and the ceilings rise. The corridor walls - thin and prefabricated to maximize the internal space - are lined with a sheet to reflect the light in the house. In the heart of the house, living spaces open onto a courtyard. Upstairs, a warmer palette of wood floors sets the tone for private quarters, while skylights and generous windows throw space into abundant natural light.
