It’s so easy to fall into that trap, isn't it? That nagging feeling that I should’ve done more by now, that somehow I’ve missed a critical window of opportunity. We see others’ successes and wonder if we’re somehow lagging behind, or if our moment has passed. But lately, I’ve been shifting that perspective, and it's brought a lot of peace. Instead of feeling like I was falling behind, I now like to think of it as falling inward.
This inward journey, this time, has been about getting rooted. It’s been about quiet observation, deep reflection, and truly learning who I really am under all the noise and expectations of the world. Because here's a powerful truth: growth doesn't always look public or performative. It’s not always about grand, visible achievements that everyone can applaud. Sometimes, it’s like the roots of a mighty tree growing stronger and deeper, unseen, underground for a while. And you know what? That's absolutely okay.
In fact, I've come to believe that late bloomers aren't late at all. They’re simply not rushed. They’re allowing their natural process to unfold, developing at their own perfect pace, gathering strength and wisdom before showing their full colors to the world. And that kind of growth is just as valid, and often, even more profound.
