Do we deserve to be promoters?

Halo steemians, a #promo-steem project initiated by several seniors [Hive account@anarcotech, Hive account@starkerz, Hive account@stepenkendal] were warmly welcomed by the world's steemians, in line with the success of several important events including London investors conference.

Nowadays there are so many articles in steemit that show the #promo-steem procession, but do you know what exactly is the purpose of the steem promotion?, before you promote steemit to your friend's family or even your acquaintance, is it good that you can answer some of these fundamental questions?

1. What is the difference between steem and steemit?
2. Where did the money come from?
3. Why should we join steemit?

If you feel able to explain in detail the three questions, then I think you have the right to promote steem/it to everyone, but if you have not been able to answer it, I do not think you deserve to be called the promoter!
