(PowerUp Shard NFT)

The Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) is the 1st day of the month, where Hive users are incentivised to power up HIVE.

The #HPUD badges initiative was created by the Hive account@hivebuzz team.

They will award you a super cool special badge (example below), that you can check out at https://hivebuzz.me on the POWER UP tab when you power up at least 10 HIVE on the first day of the month (UTC timezone).

Depending on how much you power up, the badge awarded will be different, the bigger the power-up, the bigger the bee will be! 😎

Whenever THIS giveaway event is announced (a reference/link to this post would be shown by Hive account@forykw on an enabled Giveaway post), all you need to do in order to be eligible for the giveaway is to be sure you do ALL of the following steps:

• 😍 PowerUp at least 10 HIVE Power (HP), on the 1st day of the respective announced giveaway month (UTC Timezone) - Check https://hivebuzz.me (POWER UP tab) to be sure you have done it!
• 😏 You can't be powering down! (until the prizes are announced)
• 🚨 Write a comment with the 👉ATX👈 word in it before the respective post curation ends! - It's very simple, and if you DON'T want to be eligible, just don't use this word! 😎

These changes were introduced to discourage (future) abuse or token manipulation for participants of the giveaways. Aiming to make sure anyone can still participate with very low requirements, and at the same time introduce challenges for the more advanced users.

This means the minimums are still guaranteed for any user (requiring no purchase of ATX tokens), although for increased delegations and experience from the giveaways, additional ATX participation is required. These modifiers will also help keep the ATX space more peaceful. Below, there is a simple explanation of these extra requirements:

• To win more than one ATX token per ATX NFT you hold, you will need an equal amount of shares in the ATX:SWAP.HIVE pool.
• (on the 1st HPUD of 2027) To win more than 1k HIVE POWER Delegation on the giveaway (in case you win), an equal amount of ATX tokens will be required to be staked.

1. The PowerUp Shard NFT before 29/06/2025 would only give you an extra 1k HP delegation and 1 more ATX token (because of how the giveaway was structured). After this date, that NFT will do what it says, 2X more delegation after ALL HP of your NFTs has been calculated 😱, along with any Hive-Engine staked tokens delegations (when announced in the giveaway). The effect is not compounded in case you hold more than one.
2. Until 26/07/2025 the number of ATX tokens distributed to any eligible participant would be a direct count of the number of ATX NFTs held by that participant (+1 or +2 more ATX from the old model of the PowerUp Shard NFT). After this date, such rules don't apply anymore, and instead, these will:
   2.a - A minimum of 1 ATX token is always distributed as long as the participant is eligible.
   2.b - The number of ATX NFTs a participant holds on the giveaway date counts as the maximum ATX tokens possible for a participant to receive.
   2.c - Users will need to hold shares within the ATX:SWAP.HIVE pool in order to receive up to the maximum defined in 2.b clause. One Share equals one ATX token win possibility. So, for example, if you are entitled to a maximum of 10 ATX tokens, you need 10 Shares on the pool to receive them all, or if, in this case, you hold only 5 Shares instead, you will only receive 5 ATX tokens. If you hold less than 1 share, you will always receive 1 ATX token (given you are eligible).
3. After 17/12/2026, the maximum HIVE Power Delegation will be subject to a limit imposed by how many ATX tokens you have staked in your account. The minimum delegation will still be 1k HP without any need for staking tokens. Although if the winner is entitled to more than 1k HP delegation, it will require an equal amount of ATX tokens staked under the respective account, otherwise the entitled delegation will be reduced to either a maximum of 1k HP or the number of staked ATX, whichever is higher. So, for example, if you are entitled to a 10k HP delegation and you only have 2k ATX tokens staked, you will instead receive a 2k HP delegation. But if you have 20k ATX tokens staked, then you will receive the 10k HP delegation in full.

Future updates do not have a retroactive effect. Meaning, you will not be able to claim past giveaway rewards once you get NFTs that were or will be released in the future.

Besides the above, I usually distribute some #FREE stuff around too, using "funny bot moments", but the awesome prize in my view is the #HIVE delegation! I will keep this comment here as the tool previously used to draw the winners (until 29/06/2025) authored by Hive account@sentipl, a nice hive random comment picker tool which he so delightfully kept running for so long and perfected over time. I could submit MR's to his open-source tool here, but because of the simplicity of what I want needs to eventually be incorporated into some other parts of my project, I had to create my own "random picker".

So, because previously one could get more ATX comments, to mess up with the model, I have now created a Python script that correctly draws only one per participant. So, you can ATX at your will, only one comment will count. 😎
