While on the Outer Banks this past weekend, I remembered reading about a space ship house that was there. Ok, ok.... it wasn't originally a spaceship house or prop, but a Futuro house..... yes... .for real.....it was meant to be a minimalist dwelling. It started out as a beach home, then an office, then a hot dog stand. The man that has owned it for years now, originally wanted it to be an Alien Ice Cream shop, but it has never worked out. Mostly it has been a tourist attraction and has deteriorated, but he has a friend that use to put on an alien suit and great visitors.

As you can see .... this alien is somewhat messy and may not know how to use a weedeater. Of course it was the week before the peak tourist season starts, so maybe he was going to clean it up this week.
