As I was driving in to work today, after grabbing a delicious breakfast sandwich from one of our local small businesses, I saw a bumper sticker on a car that caught my eye. Here in the south, you'll usually see the same types of bumper stickers. Whether it is "Honk if you love Jesus", "Support our Troops" or the "Trump/Pence 2016" stickers, it's usually one of the three. However, this one was different and gave me a good laugh.
The bumper sticker says: "My Child is Triangle Elementary's Manatee of the Month"
I don't know about you, but I don't think calling a child a manatee, otherwise known as a Sea Cow, is a very nice thing to say. You're essentially calling them a little fatty. I thought we were trying to end bullying!
I jest because I can only assume that the Manatee is Triangle Elementary's mascot, but it still pretty funny to see a bumper sticker that has a parent calling their kid a little Sea Cow.
In summation, bullying is wrong, but this is funny, nonetheless.
Hope that gave you a good laugh. Much love and Happy Steeming!
