Hi guys, I saw this cabin decor in the local craft store tonight and it made me laugh! We have bears up here in Northwest Washington, and they are not something that you want to mess around with. I watched an episode of myth busters where they put food in a cooler, and placed this cooler in a mini-van and rolled up all the windows and locked the van. The bear could smell the food through the rolled up windows, and pried the locked doors open to get to the cooler.
Yes bears will kill you....... Never make eye contact with a bear ,it is perceived to be a challenge. Never run, and do not turn your back on a bear. Slowly back away if you can, and if they attack curl up to protect yourself and play dead as a last resort.
Yes we do have bears up here in the Northwest, I would love to see one ....... from a distance!!!!!!
