Looks like Miami dodged a bullet with Irma's track moving to the west. They still are going to get plenty of rain and maybe some flooding but not near as bad as the west coast of Florida. Tampa and Fort Myers are going to take a direct hit from the winds and storm surge being in the northwest quadrant of the hurricane. I hope everyone in those areas have been making preparation too.
Jsnip4 lives in the Tampa area and he is going to stay to document the hurricane. I have a bad feeling he's not going to be able to livestream or make video for a while when this thing bears down on Tampa with 120+mph winds. He could be out of power for weeks. I hope he knows what he's doing because this storm is no joke.
