Hurricane Harvey is expected to make landfall on the Texas coast early Saturday morning and stall out over the weekend dumping possible up to 30 inches of rain. On Sunday it could start moving east back into the gulf and then start moving towards Louisiana. It's expected to reach at least a Category 3 hurricane before it makes landfall in Texas.
People in the path of this Storm need to take it seriously, even if you live 50 or 100 miles from the coast this storm will cause major flooding and power outages for days. We haven't had a major hurricane hit the US since 2008 so people can get complacent and not take the warning seriously and that only adds to the death troll.
Remember most people die inland from the flash flooding and tornadoes don't be one of those folks if you live in the path of this storm.
