In The Simpsons episode "Homer at the Bat" Mr. Burns (voiced by Harry Shearer) hires an unnamed hypnotist (voiced by Harry Shearer) to hypnotize the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant softball team in order to enhance their performance playing on the field and beat the Shelbyville Nuclear Power Plant's team.
The hypnotist also hypnotizes Roger Clemens (voiced by himself) into being a chicken. I thought this was a cliché but according to simpsonsarchive.com it is a reference to Mark "The Bird" Fidrych.
Mr. Burns expressed displeasure with the hypnotist's results. The hypnotist ameliorated Burns by hypnotizing him.
