It's been a while since I've introduced a new Steemian to the platform and it's about time I do.
The Introduce a New Steemian (IANS) initiative was started by Hive account@gmuxx some time ago.
I can't remember exactly when this was anymore because it's been a while and I feel it's time to start again after all the seriousness in my posts lately.

After all: It's nice to be nice.

I am probably going to do 3 of these the next few days, mainly because out of the 3 people, I personally know 2.
To keep it honest and to give someone random a chance too, I will add the third person later on. Also because I like to get to know new users too.

The first new Steemian I would like to introduce to you is a personal friend

Hive account@dragonsandsnakes is a mother, homeschooling 6 kiddos (yup, you heard me right: 6) and the wife of number 2 on my IANS list for the coming days. We met in person about 9 years ago when she and her hubby rented a birthing pool of me back in Holland. Shortly after this, she had her 7th child (yep, heard me right again) and her first unassisted birth.
A good year later, they contacted me again for their 8th child and second unassisted birth.
Because I always liked to take my time with people who I did business with, we clicked and became friends.

Two years ago, she, her husband and 6 kids moved to rural Ireland (like me) where they have been ever since.

They've been my shoulder and support throughout the hell I have been going through with CPS and namely the crazy social worker I've been dealing with. When I had to go to Holland a few weeks ago to be with my friend and her family in their dark days when they had to say good-bye forever to their son and brother, they took care of our cats and pony and made sure I didn't have to worry about them. I am forever grateful for their friendship and support, so hopefully they will gain a few followers due to this post.

I will upvote, resteem the introduction post and all liquid Steem/SBD from this post will be transferred to the Hive account@dragonsandsnakes account after pay-out. Please check out her account and make sure to follow because I'd say there will be some interesting things coming.

What to do?
Usually I choose a person from the #introduceyourself tag. Usually someone really new but it could happen that I choose someone with an older post (a day or two) or someone I know. To keep it nice, not too many of those because I want to give everyone a chance. Personally I don't choose someone who already has a huge payout coming their way, but of course: that's up to yourself. Make sure to use #ians as your first tag, so it's easier to find.
Other than that: anything goes really. Let's welcome some new Steemians together and make them feel welcome here!
