Fellow Steemians,

I'm on vacation with family this week... and as all get-togethers go these days, Steemit has become a BIG TOPIC of conversation! Questions are running wild. So I thought it would be fun to do a little experiment. I'm going to use STEEM to buy everyone ice cream. I'd say it's a pretty delicious proof of concept, right?

This blog post will be used as an example to illustrate how rewards are raised through "upvotes" and engagement with people all over the world. There's a global love of ice cream out there and I hope this post taps into that tasty potential ;)

Step x Step

• First, I'll withdraw $100 SBD from my Steemit wallet
• Send to Bittrex
• Send to my Bitpay Debit Card
• Buy Ice Cream! (Scoop amount and toppings to be determined by parental units)

Here's a pic from "ice-cream night" last year with the nephews. Of course, I'll post a photo of the proof-of-ice-cream once complete!
