You head south and after a few steps west. You then repeat heading south and then west again till you reach another fork. You decided to give going north a try at first. After a few steps, the back of the cave wall reflected you showing that way was a dead end. So you turned around and started heading south.

After heading south for a few moments in the cave maze you are forced to head west with no other option. You are shortly met with another wall and have to head east into a semi-large chamber that marks another dead end.

Seems this side is entirely just one giant dead end after another. You head west, south, east, north, west, north, west, and north again to end right back where you had left off from. You can now choose to head south or north.
