You insert the purple ID card into the card reader and the door opened. It revealed a room with a giant sphere that had many layers of rings around it in the middle. There was also a computer station off to the far left.

You examined the sphere and rings of the device. It was not powered up at this time. There were many layers of rings all smooth and icy to the look and feel them.

Since you have picked up a chunk of Golden Paradox 384 and stored it in your backpack you have noticed it was having a local effect on the area around you. The temperature was dropping slightly and this was almost putting you into the red zone for what the suit could protect you from.

You walked over to the computer itself. There was a green and a red button. Nothing else appeared to be intractable. You pressed the red button first but nothing happened.

You pushed the green button and that is when you heard the sound of some high-pitched electronic coils receiving power. The ring on the device in the middle of the room starts to spin up gaining in speed every few seconds.

After quite a while a ball of light started to appear between the rings that were moving so fast they almost look solid. They continued to pick up speed for a short time further.

Sometime later the giant ball of light come out of the sphere itself and drifted over to a spot in the room that was set up for it. You could go over to inspect the light. Otherwise, you could choose to do nothing and continue to watch the device.
