You decided to further search the cafeteria. It was quite massive after all. There seemed to be lots of leftover things all over the tables. Almost like whoever was here enjoying a meal left in a hurry. Perhaps they left something important behind.
The first row of tables looked somewhat empty. You decided to skip over them. As the rows after that going all the way to the back of the room appeared to be where most people were sitting. Almost like the first row was reserved for higher-ranking officials or something as they almost looked like no one ever sat at them compared to how scratched and dented the other tables were.
The chairs at these tables were also rather odd. They seemed like they were almost floating. They were standing upright with a single leg to support whatever the weight of what would sit down on them. They were also all grey like the walls.
As you walked along the tables you noticed many pieces of paper. They were however not like the paper you would see on earth. They did not weigh them at all. It appeared as if they were made from electricity as the whole thing was luminescent.
One thing you noticed was not on any of the tables was any kind of food. You somewhat expected if this was a cafeteria and everyone left in a hurry that there would have been some kind of food left behind. There was not so much of a crumb.
You also noticed that the floors were sparkling clean as well. It was clear no one had been in here for quite some time. Yet, it looked like it could have just been cleaned this morning. As far as the flooring goes. The tables were another story.
You ended up walking up and down rows and rows of tables. It was more of just the same. Lots of electronic pieces of paper that you had no clue what was written on them. None of them had any images on them. You could not further interact with them in any way.
At one point you found yourself back at the entryway of the cafeteria where that row of tables seemed like they were hardly used. Expect one that was only a couple of footsteps away from you and had something on it.
It was quite different from anything else you noticed in the room. As for starters, it was red. It was also a lot smaller than the normal pieces of electronic paper you were finding everywhere. You walked over to the table and picked it up.
It looked like you indeed did find something. It could be a red ID card. Perhaps this item will come in handy later. You tucked it into your backpack for safekeeping for now (acquired a red ID card).
You then went on to search the place for well over an hour. Nothing else of interest was found. You were also somewhat getting rather bored with the place. It was time to check elsewhere on the ship out. You could head out the door on the left or right.
