SPRINGROLE’s, ICO REVIEW
In my first articles: https://steemit.com/ico/@nwanne/the-team-behind-the-springrole-project, readers were acquainted with the term, SpringRole. The second article: (https://steemit.com/ico/@nwanne/the-springrole-overview) passed on the basic definition, terminologies, community, basic operations, success story and benefits associated with SpringRole.
Way forward
Today, we look forward to defining an ICO and an ICO review; follow it up with the SpringRole ICO review and distribution model. Lastly, the SpringRole ICO was subjected to my Trust Based Analysis; coming out good as a viable investment option. So, Let’s move it.
AN ICO
An ICO is an acronym for Initial Coin Offering; a cryptocurrency version of Initial Public Offer where people buy into a company shares; helping them to raise needed fund for business expansion.

ICO review is a critical analysis of an ICO against some parameters and aimed at determine if the exercise is worth it.
SpringRole Inc. is an existing firm currently scaling to compete globally as one of the leaders in the recruitment industry. This has prompted the management to approach the crypto-community in a bid to mint 10billion SPRING tokens; which will be distributed in this model:

For investors; the market development and Token sales tops their priority. SpringRole Inc. comes with over three year’s requisite experience needed to accomplish the stipulated task on schedule. To push for such accomplishment; the project managers has pledged to lock the fund and only release it with the following events:
- SpringRole network launch (20%)
- A year after (20%)
- Three years monthly distribution (60%)
The timeline for the market development has been stipulated below:
• First to second quarter, 2018: Profile, Attestation framework and endorsement system
• Second to Third Quarter, 2018: Directory listing, Work attestation, job board and scoring
• Third to fourth quarter, 2018: Freelancer network and graph search
• Fourth Quarter 2018 to First Quarter, 2019: API system and announcement of further roadmap
This goes to show that the investment on the project will be delivered and proceeds felt from the year, 2019.
Again; the team and founders’ allotment appears well deserved; going by the inputs made at SpringRole since the year; 2016. The generally accepted belief backing the community to hold majority stake compared to the project owners was also maintained. Hopefully; the 25% stake will encourage them to do more.
TRUST BASED ANALYSIS
Some ICO projects can be fraudulent, and Ziber is a good example. The Trust based analysis below is aimed at filtering out such frauds when passed through it. A negative feedback to the analysis raises a red flag on an ICO; while a positive feedback gives you the green to proceed. SpringRole actually did well in the analysis, as shown below; making them a trusted project and an investment destination of choice.

- “Parameters” highlights important observations that should be observed, before investing or turning down an ICO,
- “Hint” is a standard of what should be obtainable in a credible and promising project; while
- “SpringRole stand” shows the performance of the project against the analysis.
Note: Coins coming from an existing and thriving business has proven to be more stable, owing to the utility value and SPRING token is one of such.
