I keep thinking about how digital identity is becoming an increasingly important topic in the day of the internet. It's something that is at the center of all business. "Data". It's kind of ridiculous to think about how much data is given for particular services to 'prove' your identity. This poses some issues in terms of Identitfy fraud...because increasingly so...more and more centralized institutions are requesting and requiring individual users data.
It makes a lot of sense to create digital identities that do not involve continulously pulsating super sensitive data over the internet. This is in the process of happening. Cryptography and decentralization is posied to play a significant role in this development.
Civic is huge opportunity in providing solutions to the issues around and about 'digital identity'.
