So... last Friday, I got my IELTS results!!
My predictions right after I took it:
-7.5 or 8.0 for the speaking part, depending on whether they tolerate giving false informations with a confident tone of voice.
-7.0 or 7.5 for the listening part depending on how lucky I was with guessing the answers I missed hearing.
-7.0 For the reading part.
-6.5 For the writing part.
This would lead to a band 7.5 at most or 7.0 (my old mark) at least.
My results:
It looks like I underestimated the gravity of my mistake in writing, reading was better than expected, but overall, I got what I was aiming for. I'll make sure I get better with writing by next time ;)
I also took the French language exam last Friday, I'll probably make a post about it later this week. But I can tell you now that I'm not as confident as I was about the IELTS. It sucks but it's true that I'm probably better with my third language (English) than I am with my second (French) if that even makes any sense.
