Here is my entry for the I Love Nature Photography Contest created by on Whaleshares. Today is Monday so the theme is flowers. (Read the rules here.)
As mentioned in a previous post, I learned my photography chops with a Canon T3i. And flowers were my primary subjects of study.
This is an example of my early (serious) photography. I had no macro lens at the time and used the kit lens that had come with my T3i. But I love the result, as it was an exercise in patience. I had to play with the aperture and learned a great deal on that day.
Macros and closeups still make my heart skip a bit.
The photo is titled "Opened to the world."
