Don’t relay to the appointee how it came about. He should be giving the apportioned sum I was promised by the king.”
Baggs let himself be overcome by his own thoughts. - In the opportionment clause, we are also getting our land back. We’ll have our apposition beach back! -
“Was our appracial of the king correct?” asked Dan.
“We had the maid appraise him for years. She’d never let us down.” Baggs said as he touched the boys head. Baggs turned his head to witness again the appraisive eyes glaring at him from the picture of his dead wife. “Dear,” kneeling down as if she were there in front of him, “you have always appreciated my wierdness. This time we struck gold.”
Dan was never comfortable with his father speaking to the treasured picture. He charished his mother, but he let her go long ago. He hoped this new piece of music was going to be the appriciated surplus they needed to get everything they once had back. He mistrusted his own apprehentions. Misgivings frequently welded up inside of him.
