So Much Going On Today
INDEPENDENCE DAY, ELECTION DAY, CRYPTO DUMP DAY
As if the ongoing FUD dump of the crypto market wasn't bad enough, Jerome Powell, the unelected chair of the United States Federal Reserve, made comments that dumped it even further. Even our Hive has dumped quite a bit - below 20 cents for the first time in a while.
Personally I see this as a precious opportunity to DCA into my favourite tokens. It's not easy to buy at these times as the emotions are telling your to run for safety. The longer you spend in this market, though, the easier it is to see buying opportunities this this one. Soon enough, everything will surge upwards and these down days will quickly vanish to oblivion.
I've been dabbling with a little leverage that took advantage of volatility in both directions. Even though I'm not a big fan of trading, let alone leverage, it's a way to make (or lose) a lot of money very quickly!
A lot is going on today. It's Independence Day in the United states. Happy 4th of July to you guys all the way from across the pond. Here in the UK, it's election day. I've been seeing a lot of political messages both online and in real life. I've had a few people come to my door trying to tell me why I should vote for this person/party or the other. I've had countless leaflets fall through my letterbox. I haven't read a single one of them. Like someone said, here in the UK there's no red or blue, they've merged into one big useless purple.
I hope whoever is the best candidate capable of fixing this big mess gets the job.
Meanwhile yesterday I went out into town for recreational purposes for the first time in ages. I went to see an old friend of mine, who's also a pop star, perform on stage. It was absolutely electrifying and I had a wonderful time. London is a really vibrant city. I had totally forgotten how much since I hardly ever go out anymore. Even in these economically hard times, people are still having fun.
Peace & Love,
Adé
