Finally i have found the raw fruits of Areca today, i have seen its solid form and i have tasted it various times in Paan. In fact i saw its raw fruits first time physically because there is no much farming in my current province though in other states of India like as Kerala there are available in huge quantities. The raw form looks like berry in colour of green or little orange but when it goes dryer then its become too solid and there is special tool to cut it. Please have a look at raw materials first then i will produce its tree and will describe about its uses.
Its husk was little soft now but gradually becomes solid day by day.
- Now have a look how its appeared on trees:
- Uses:
Areca nut is being used since 16 centuries and perhaps long ago in some countries including India. The areca nuts are being exported out of India since long too.
People use it with betel leaf and chewing for some time. Some people also uses this with tobacco and chewing which may leads towards mouth disease.
When i saw it today in a three wheeler rickshaw today i asked the buyer what is this? he said it is सुपारी (Areca nut) then i asked again how you will use it? he said we will use it in making Paan Mashala.
- The dry looks of Areca nuts are like as :
They are solid to much solid actually and one more thing this areca nuts are also used worship of god according to Hindutva.
Thanks in advance for all!!
