I'm heading to Bangalore tomorrow to attend the Mint Digital Innovation Summit 2019. It's a major event for corporate executives shaping the country as we know it.
I've been invited again by Editor for Mint (Hindustan Times) and I'm excited to share some ideas and thoughts about the on-goings from the blockchain and cryptocurrency space with the some of top execs from the Indian IT sector.
I was extended an invited last time for the Mint Enterprise Tech Summit 2018 as well. You can read about that event here. It was great to know about the perspective of industry thought leaders on cryptocurrencies last time around. I wonder what the key learnings will be this time.
The first edition of the Mint Digital Innovation Summit will be a place where technology meets business. It has been designed for C-level and senior executives responsible for information, technology, strategy, and marketing, who are charged with driving innovation and new product development—across industries and sectors.
The broad themes of this first edition comprises digital life, cutting edge technologies–machine learning, deep learning, computer vision and a suite of other artificial intelligence technologies–virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, smart cities and connected health.
A dear friend and top consultant in India, Jayanth Kolla, Founder and partner of Convergence Catalyst is also a speaker and jury member at the event tomorrow.
You can find the even agenda here and it looks quite promising to me. I look forward to an exciting networking session and also watch some of the talks and startup presentations taking place towards the end.
Some of the talks that I look forward to attending are:
- First Keynote: AI for Weather Forecasting - Sella Nevo, Lead, Flood Forecasting Initiative, Google
- Short Keynote: Understanding Blockchain’s impact on Payments -
Navin Gupta, MD, South Asia & MENA, Ripple - Fireside Chat: How to make Emerging Tech work for you
- CEO Panel: Digital India — The Way Forward
- Smart Policy through Rich Data : Air Pollution use case - Arvind Tiwary, Founder,SangEnnovate, co-chair of IoTNext
- Connected Health: Gene Editing for Better Health
This in addition to the Startup Innovators Presentations should be very exciting. It should be a very productive and hectic day for me. But it's always exciting to attend a top notch event like this.
Will try to post some updates from the event after it's over.
