Last week, my band Alif played at the first edition of Spoken Fest 2017 - A festival of words, voices and stories.
It was organised in Mumbai, India and put together by Kommune.
Spoken word, poetry and storytelling is growing in India and has a great crowd following especially in Mumbai. Since Alif is all about telling stories and poetry through music, we were invited to play at the fest.
This was one fest which was impeccably organized! From coordination and communication with the artist to press conferences, backstage, soundcheck, punctuality to performance... everything went so smoothly.
The curation of artists was brilliant and the vibe of the place was amazing as well.
