One year ago today, this lovely couple took a walk by the Shipra river in Ujjain, India. Their cute little march was inspiring for some reason. I remember looking at the woman and wanting to say: "Yes mamaa you got this!! Teach me."
And the sign on the man's bag: "✓Just do it" made me giggle.
Some answers come in funny ways, this one was special. I wonder what the old me would see in this picture? Probably some combination of judgements like "A surpressed, hard working woman lead by a man" + I'd be possibly annoyed by it.
Not this time. Now I see a balanced strong woman, supported by a man - him holding her hand makes sense.
...and not just sense, but !SENSE!
During my 3months stay in India, I've seen many women walk around with potato bags on their head, this Queen really has an upgraded support team going on; walking stick on one hand and a man on the other.
Something tells me "thís is what balance looks like", another part of me agrees. Great, now I know what to do with this potato bag of mine (shoulders happy!).
India, you're such a funny, subtle teacher. Thank you!
An on another note it feels good to realise how overrated the whole Opinion Industry is compared to Joy Train that's all about exploring new lessons, answers and perspectives. Even better when a new understanding overrides a complete collection of old school judgement, I'm glad that happened for me.
So this is a review for Perspective Change: ***** (5stars)
yes, I've tried it - it works and I definitely recommend this to anyone dealing with things that feel like potato bags on shoulders. It does have the potential to instantly release burdens so make sure you say goodbye to them before they go, if anything ..you wouldn't want to leave things unsaid.
Good luck and if you try it, I'd love to hear all about it!
