It was an amazing and very long day as my college-long tournament came to an end.
A total of 132 teams took part in the tournament. Which is a record-breaking number in Gujarat,India.
It was a well-organised tournament by my own DRB college, where I am currently pursuing a B.com. in my 2nd year.
The amazing part of the tournament was the chief guest, i.e., none other than Munaf Patel (an ex-Indian cricketer).
He was called to the closing ceremony of the seven-day tournament.
I would also like to thank the C.B. patel cricket academy for providing 5 turf grounds for this tournament. And supporting staff and all the members involved behind this tournament.
I am very proud and thrilled to announce that I, along with my team, remained undefeated throughout the tournament. We were champions and were awarded by Munaf sir himself.
I was the best bowler of the tournament and also took some mind-boggling catches.
We had a well-balanced team as per turf cricket rules.
The Trophy is so spectacular that me and my team (team legends by name) are not able to take our eyes off of it.
I was very happy with our win, and to make us more proud of our win, our college felicitated us on our college campus too.
Our win was also covered in one of the most renowned newspapers in the local area of Gujarat (namely, Denik Bhaskar).
The newspaper and the article have been printed in Gujarati.
These are a few of the most unforgettable moments of my life. These moments will be cherished forever.
