Nowadays it's the seasonal season of rambutan, everywhere is flooded with this fruit, the fruit is hairy but tastes sweet, while the name rambutan is taken from the word (hair) because in Malay it means feathers, and rambutan fruit means hairy fruit, maybe the name fits perfectly with the shape of the fruit skin which is overgrown with fine spines resembling feathers, but the pafa spines of this fruit are not sharp,
the fruit of rambutan is round in color ranging from green, yellow to red. White flesh tends to be clear, and this ripe fruit tastes sweet to sweet, very suitable for snacks.
