Arti kemerdekaan yang kita proklamasikan, adalah kemerdekaan untuk seluruh bangsa, bukan kemerdekaan segelintir orang, bukan kemerdekaan untuk satu dua partai, apalagi satu atau beberapa faksi. Kemerdekaan kita adalah kemerdekaan untuk Indonesia sebagai Bangsa dan negara. 72 Tahun kami sudah merdeka dari penjajahan bangsa lain, kemerdekaan itu belum kami rasa sampai hari ini kami masih dijajah oleh bangsa kami sendiri.

The meaning of freedom we proclaim, is freedom for all nations, not the liberty of a few, not independence for one or two parties, let alone one or several factions. Our independence is independence for Indonesia as a Nation and a country. 72 years we have been independent from the colonization of other nations, the independence we have not felt until today we are still colonized by the nation itself.
